March 14, 2001 Twilight Announces Aargon Deluxe First Screenshots Released Webpage Released Contact: Steve Verreault, (contact page: select general information) Twilight Games would like to announce Aargon Deluxe, a challenging Windows game that stretches the player's puzzle-solving abilities. Aargon Deluxe is now in it's final phase of development and is expected to be released in April 2001. Aargon Deluxe is a mind bending puzzle game where the player must construct 'light machines' with tools like mirrors, prisms, and filters. Players must watch out for exploding mines, glass eating slimes, and other obstacles. Aargon Deluxe features well over 120 levels (240 in the gold edition), and a built in interactive tutorial mode. The game also provides a fully featured user friendly level editor so players can create and share their levels with other players. Aargon plays in 16 million colors and features high quality rendered images and light effects. Aargon Deluxe is a "non violent" game that was designed to appeal to a wide audience of all ages. There's something there for the "hard core" PC gamer as well as the casual gamer who likes brain teasers. Aargon Deluxe's puzzles are based on the true behaviour of light and optics so it can also be used as an introductory learning tool for physics students. System requirements; Aargon Deluxe requires a minimum Pentium 166 system with at least 16MB of ram and a 4MB video card, running Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000. Aargon Deluxe is sold in three flavours. Regular($14.95), Gold($24.95), or Upgrade($9.95) editions. The regular edition contains the deluxe level set which has over 120 levels. The gold edition allows players to play all the classic aargon levels enhanced for use in Aargon Deluxe. The upgrade edition is a special offer for players who already own Aargon Classic.
